ARCHITECTURAL COMMITTEE REPORT

By Jack Beaudoin

Summer is coming! The ACAC can tell by the number of Architectural Approval Requests. We had 16 in April and the number will increase! Unfortunately several requests that very well may have been approved were delayed 30 days because they were submitted late or failed to include in the request, detailed listing of materials, plat plan, design including measurements, elevation(s) and landscaping: Please:

  • Review the Master and your sub-division’s Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions as well as our Architectural Guidelines to be sure what you want to do is permissible.
  • Obtain an Architectural Control Request Approval Form by going to www.fieldstone-farms, completing it and including ALL the requested attachments.
  • Transmit your request to Linda Ivey at Morris Properties by the Wednesday before the first Tuesday of the month.

We want to approve your request!

Besides location, location, location first impression, curb appeal, is not only important to you, but your neighbors and Fieldstone Farms. Take a moment, go out your front door and (safely) walk into the middle of the street in front of your house. You be the judge. Would you buy it “as is” today? Now is the time to develop your “to do” list.

Some ideas are:

  • Mulch, mow on a timely basis and edge your lawn
  • Trim/prune shrubs and trees
  • Remove mold/algae from your home’s exterior.
  • Paint fading/pealing house and/or trim
  • Straighten and paint mail box post and replace missing numbers.
  • Keep sidewalks as clear as possible
  • Keep front yard clear of toys, outdoor furniture, garden hoses and other storable items when not in use.

Thank you for keeping Fieldstone Farms looking great!!

Architectural Control

Committee

The ACC is made up of volunteer homeowners who live in Fieldstone Farms. The committee normally meets the first Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m. at the Christ Community Church room B110. The ACC works diligently to approve each individual request in keeping with the standards. It is important that homeowners submit their request for any property improvements before any construction work begins. Please allow 30 days for response to your request.
